Counseling sessions not only involves the patients but also their families as well, so that the family and friends can provide support and help the patient to recover.
Cognitive behavioral therapy: This is another and one of the most unique types of treatment for depression, which involves understanding the thought process of the patient in concern. This type of therapy has been found to be effective in any type of mental illnesses. Usually the thoughts of a depressed person often comprises of negative and pessimistic ideas about life and the therapists simply tries to change that into a positive mode.
